Happy Fall Altrusans,
Can’t believe we are now in October. It is a beautiful time of year and hope you are able to enjoy the warm weather and colors of the season.
After our vote at the September meeting, we met with the Fond du Lac County Fair Board on Wednesday, October 5th. Betty B, Rose F, Judy B, Lillian and I attended the meeting. We will go over what transpired.
A big “thank you” goes out to Kathy Oetjen, and her committee, for a delightful afternoon on September 24th with the Laura Ingalls presentation. What a great response we had, even needed to bring out more chairs for everyone to sit on. Marty Heidner, our district representative, came from Wausau to share in the afternoon festivities. Wonderful job to the Membership Committee: Kathy Oetjen, Nancy Riley, Shelly Lancaster, Betty Costello, Marge Bleck, Shirley Abler, and Lillian Nolan.
Make a Difference Day is “Saturday, October 22. Sarah Possin will inform us what her committee has planned for that day. I am sure it will be fun as always.
